Welcome to My blog. My Today’s card for the and Global Design Project- #GDP256 . I am very excited to take part in this week fun challenge.
This Week Challenge: CASE the Designer -Kayla Macredie ( CASE= Copy and Selectively Edit )
Here is my card,
Here is the card of the very talented Designer –Kayla McCreadie.
I used Smoky Slate as my base card followed by the layers Basic Black, Whisper White and Smoky Slate again. I die cut the pieces of these leaves from the Poppy Moments Dies and attached to the smoky slate using Tom Bow Multipurpose glue and die cut another piece of leaf from the Whisper White Cardstock to add to the side of the sentiment. All the products which I used here are available at my Online Store .
Measurements in Metric: (A4 Cardstock )
- Base Card Smoky Slate A4 Card Stock : 27.8 cm by 10.5 cm (Cut at half on 10.5 cm on 21cm side, scored and folded at half on 14.9 cm )
- First Layer Basic Black : 10 cm by 14. 4 cm
- Second Layer Whisper White : 9.7 cm by 14.1 cm
- Third Layer Smoky Slate : 9.4 cm by 13.8 cm
- Basic Black : 10 cm by 14.4 cm ( Inside )
- Whisper White: 9.7 cm. by 14.1 cm ( Inside )
- Scrap piece of Whisper White to stamp the sentiment.
I splashed some Black ink and Clear Wink to Stella on the background of the Smoky Slate Cardstock to add some interest to it. I added small piece of Golden Foil Sheets, Silver White Metallic ribbon and a piece of basic black Cardstock. I used the sentiments from the Parcel and Petals stamp sets. As a final touch I added Gilded Gold Gems and the Polka Dot on top of it.

Measurements in Imperial: ( Letter Size )
- Base card Smoky Slate : 8.5 ” by 11″ (Cut at half on 5 .5″, scored and folded at half on 4 1/4″ )
- First Layer Basic Black : 4 ” by 5 1/4″
- Second Layer Whisper White : 3 7/8 ” by 5 1/8 ”
- Third Layer Smoky Slate : 3 5/8 ” by 4 7/8 “
- Basic Black : 4″ by 5 1/4″ ( Inside )
- Whisper White: 3 3/4″ by 5″ ( Inside )
I decorated the inside using scrap piece of basic black and and the die cut leaves.
