Happy to welcome you all again to my blog. This is the card for
Day 2 – #30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge run by Martin Mayhem from UK.
Each day will be different themes. I am very excited to take part in this fun challenge

Day 2 – Paper Piecing Technique:

Everyone can take part in this Challenge and play with what you have. I used Stampin’ Up! ‘Christmas Gleaming’ Stamp set with Co-ordinating Punch for today’s challenge.

I used Very Vanilla as my base card followed by the layers Night of navy, Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper, next layer Night of Navy and Very Vanilla again.

What is Paper Piecing Technique?

Paper Piecing Technique is adding colourful Designer Series Paper/ Pattern paper to the stamped image and adding it to your project.

For this card I stamped the image in Night of Navy Stampin’ Ink in Brightly Gleaming Speciality Designer Series Paper ( Green ) and I punched it and attached it to the Very Vanilla Cardstock using Stampin’ Dimensionals. ( I have co-ordinating punch for this stamp set if not you can stamp and cut the piece with your Scissors and add it to your project )

As a final I added some Elegant Faceted Gems which I coloured using Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends and attached it to the Very Vanilla.

I always love to decorate my inside of the cards using co-ordinating colours, here I used Night of Navy and Brightly Gleaming Speciality Designer Series Paper and the punched pieces.
