Stampin’ Up! Changing Leaves

Today’s post is for the Be Inspired Design Team. Each month will have a different theme and this month’s theme is – Foliage Fun

I created the card using the Changing Leaves Bundle

Basic Gray, Pool Party, Highland Heather, Basic White and Basic Black are the colours I used.I am looking forward to seeing what everyone has created.

CHANGING LEAVES

• Emboss the layer 1 Basic Gray cardstock and then sponge the centre of the card using Basic Gray ink to get the dark shade behind
• Splatter the background using a water-mixed white reinker.
• Die-cut the leaves from the Pool Party, Highland Heather, Smoky Slate and Basic White.

• Adhere all the die-cut pieces one on another using glue and Stampin’ Dimensional.

LAYERING LEAVES BUNDLE

I sponged the Pool Party die-cut leaves using the Pool Party and Pretty Peacock ink with the light effect to get different shades of the leaves.

Measurements

• Base card – Basic Gray – 10.5cm x 29.8cm scored@14.9cm(4 1/4″ x 11″ scored @ 5 1/2″)
• Layer 1 Basic Gray : 9.7cm x 14.1cm (embossed – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″)
• Basic White Inside -10cm x 14.4cm (4″ x 5 1/4″)

Make sure to decorate the inside of the card using some scraps of die-cut pieces, adding the Pool Party from Highland Heather and Smoky Slate.
