Hop Abroad Instagram Hop – February

Hello lovely Crafty friends,

Today’s post is for the Hop Abroad Instagram Hop. Each month, we’ll explore a new theme; this month, it’s all about using Designer Series paper
I like to use the two Sale-A-Bration products one is Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper but without the fruit images, and the next one is the Heart Shaped Bundle.

Here is my project

Measurements:– Card 1

• Base card – Pumpkin Pie 10.5cm x 29.6cm scored@14.9cm (4 1/4″ x 11″scored@ 5 1/2″)
• Layer 1: DSP- 9cm x 14.9cm (3 1/2″x 5 1/2″)
• Layer 2: : Peach Pie – 9cm x 14.9cm (3 1/2″x 5 1/2″)
• Basic White Inside -10cm x 14.4cm (4″x 5 1/4″)
• Scrap pieces of Basic White for die-cutting.
  Die-cut the Basic White cardstock first and stamp the sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Basic Gray Ink.
  For this card 1 : Die-cut the heart image on the peach pie cardstock 2 times on the top and bottom then adhere another die-cut hearts in the middle.

Heart Shaped Bundle

Measurements: CArd 2

• Base card – Peach Pie -10.5cm x 29.6cm scored@14.9cm (4 1/4″ x 11″scored@ 5 1/2″)
• Layer 1: Basic White- 9.7cm x 14.2cm (3 3/4″x 5 1/8″)
• Layer 2: : DSP – 5cmx 14.4cm (2″x 5 1/8″)
• Basic White Inside -10cm x 14.4cm (4″x 5 1/4″)
• Scrap pieces of Basic White for die-cutting.
• Die-cut the heart using Peach pie cardstock and stamp the sentiment in the centre using Basic Gray Inkpad.

Stamp the heart image on Basic White Cardstock using Cajun Craze and die-cut the piece. This will create a nice border.

CARD 3

• Base card – Thick Basic White -10.5cm x 29.6cm scored@14.9cm (4 1/4″ x 11″scored@ 5 1/2″)
• Layer 1: Basic White- 9.7cm x 14.2cm (3 3/4″x 5 1/8″) (embossed)
• Layer 2: : DSP – 1 cm x 12cm (2 pieces) ( 1/2″ x 4 3/4″)
• Basic White Inside -10cm x 14.4cm (4″x 5 1/4″)

• Die-cut the flowers using Basic White and sponged the flowers using Daffodil Delight Ink.
• Punch the leaves using Crushed Curry Ink.
• Stamp the hearts using Cajun Craze Inkpad to get dark shade.
• Stamp the sentiment on Basic White and sponge it using Daffodil delight ink pad.

• Here is the close look of the die-cut pieces and I splattered using Basic Gray Inkpad.
• Used Basic Beige Ribbon on Card 1 and Card 2.
