Today I’m sharing a fun birthday card I created for the #FMS746 card sketch challenge and also participating in the TGIFC Challenge, I always enjoy playing along with the challenges, and this one was so much fun!

I used the Hooray for Birthday sentiment from the July Paper Pumpkin kit as the main greeting on my card.

Violet Dreams Designer series Paper:
I used these two products as the main focal point of my card, and I absolutely love how they work together. The Designer Series Paper is simply stunning, and those adorable floral embellishments add the perfect finishing touch. They really bring the whole card to life!
- Started with a Secret Sea card base.
- Added a Secret Sea embossed layer to create texture and interest.
- Created the next layer by stamping the background in Secret Sea using a tone-on-tone technique for a subtle effect.
- Attached the pre-die-cut flowers from the Designer Series Paper with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add depth.
- Wrapped Peaceful Pine Ribbon around the card and tied a loose bow.
- Added a few strands of Linen Thread, securing them with Mini Glue Dots.
- Stamped the Hooray for Birthday sentiment on Peaceful Pine Cardstock and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder for a crisp finish.
- Finished by adhering the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to complete the card.
- Splatter some Clear Wink of Stella and Metallic Silver embossing powder to the background.
- Sponged the sentiment corner with Peaceful Pine Ink to add some dark shade.
- Decorate the inside using some Pre Die-cut pieces from the DSP.
