Be Inspired Blog Hop – July

Hello lovely Crafty friends,

Today’s post is for the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop. Every month we have a different theme, this month’s theme is whats the layout which works all the time!

This month’s theme is Creating Backgrounds, and I decided to create a fun mixed media style background.
For this card, I wanted to keep the design fun and interesting while letting the main elements shine. I spent some time playing around with the colours and layers until everything came together the way I imagined. Sometimes cards come together quickly, and other times they need a bit of tweaking along the way, but that’s all part of the creative process!
Here is my project!

I used Balmy Blue as Base card followed with the colours Balmy Blue and watercoloured backgrounds.

Decorate the inside of the card using scrap pieces or pre die cut pieces, I used the Paper Pumpkin card kits Hooray For Birthdays kit!
