Hello lovely Crafty friends,
Can’t believe how fast time flies — it’s already the January 2026 is here!
For today’s project ,its for the Hop Abroad InstaHop I created an elegant yet heartfelt card using a combination of dry embossing and heat embossing to add depth and texture. I started with a Secret Sea base card, which instantly gave the design a rich and sophisticated look.
The main focus is the embossed layer made with the Love 3D Embossing Folder, adding beautiful dimension and softness to the background. To enhance this, I layered heart die-cut pieces from the Made with Love bundle-such a versatile set and perfect with Valentine’s Day just around the corner.

I chose a soft but striking colour palette of Old Olive, Balmy Blue, and Soft Clover, with a touch of Copper for subtle shine. The Secret Sea ties everything together, adding contrast while keeping the design balanced.

Designer Series Paper
Procedure:
- Die-cut the hearts from the Cloud Cover cardstock.
- Emboss the layer 1 Hearts of Love 3D embossing folder.
- Splatter the Copper embossing folder to the background of the card and added the copper embossing folder to the die-cut pieces.
- Triple bow was made and attached it to the centre of the heart die-cut piece.
- Die-cut few more hearts using Old Olive cardstock and attached behind the main heart shape dies.
- The sentiments are stamped on Cloud Cover cardstock using Copper Embossing powder and heat set it!
- Finish the inside of the card using Old Olive cardstock and with stamped images.
Finish the whole tag with a touch of Wink of Stella for that perfect hint of sparkle. ✨

How did you do the copper splatter? I always love your cards so much. But, I don’t know how you got the splatter to emboss.
Hi Paige, You can do splatter in couple of ways, one of the technique is I used dots stamp set from this Endless Love Stampset using Versamark Inkpad to the background then add the copper embossing powder on it, it gives beautiful splatter technique in copper.
