Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop – CASEing the Design! I used the Peaceful Garden Suite
Hello friends, and welcome to another Let’s Craft Together Blog Hop!
This month, our theme is CASE the Catalogue – which simply means we take inspiration straight from the Stampin’ Up!® Catalogue and put our own creative twist on it. The catalogue is full of stunning ideas, and sometimes all it takes is flipping through the pages to spark that perfect project.
For my project today, I chose to CASE a design and bring it to life using the Peaceful Garden Suite. This suite instantly captured my heart with its soft colour palette, elegant patterns, and tranquil vibe – perfect for creating cards that feel calming and heartfelt.
Here’s my version of the CASEd project:

I stayed close to the original design but added a few layered touches and colour accents to make it my own. The delicate details in the Designer Series Paper paired beautifully with the stamped images, and I couldn’t resist finishing it off with some texture and a pop of embellishments.
CASE THE DESIGN

Choose Your Inspiration
Don’t overthink! Start with a project that immediately catches your eye in the catalogue. It could be the colours, layout, or even just the little embellishment detail.
Copy the Layout First
Focus on the card sketch
where the layers, focal image, and sentiment sit. Once you have the layout, you can swap in your own products.
Swap Out the Suite
Use the same design but change the stamp set, DSP, or colour palette to give the project your personal touch.
Play With Colours
Try CASEing a design exactly as shown once, then make another version using your favourite colour combo.
Add Your Own Touch
Embossing, extra layers, or different embellishments can completely transform a CASEd project.
Keep It Simple (if you want to!)
Remember, you don’t need to replicate every detail. Sometimes a simplified version works just as beautifully.
Use It as a Jumping-Off Point
The catalogue is there to spark your creativity. Once you start, you’ll find your ideas flowing! give a design a fresh new look.
I hope this inspires you to pick up your catalogue and give CASEing a try. It’s a wonderful way to get unstuck, discover new layouts, and fall in love with your supplies all over again.
