2024 - Artisian Blog Hop Secret Santa

The 2024 Artisan Design Team is feeling the spirit of the season. Today we are hopping, but this isn’t an ordinary hop. This is a special Secret Santa Gift Exchange Hop! Earlier we drew names and then got busy hand-stamping a project just for them. The projects in this hop are all gifts to one another.

I’m so excited to CASE the amazing Ashley Van Camp’s Card! Her creativity is truly inspiring, and her projects are always so unique. I had so much fun putting my twist on one of her cards, and I’m excited to share my version with you all! It’s such a great honour for me to CASE her card.

Here is my version of her card

We are planning to exchange the gift for our Artisan Design Team and Casing her card is the wonderful gift I can give it to her.

Here’s the card I’m CASE-ing from the amazing Ashley Van Camp! I love how she used soft watercolours and die-cut the pieces—such a beautiful, subtle effect with her favourite colours. It’s such an inspiring design!

Base card – Thick Basic White Cardstock 10.5cm x 27.6cm scored @14.8cm (4 1/4″ x 11′ scored @11″)
Layer 1: Basic White – 10cm x 14.3cm (4″ x 5 1/4″-embossed)
Layer 2: Basic White – 9cm x 13.3cm ( 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″)
Inside – Basic White 10cm x 14.3cm (4″ x 5 1/4″)

Watercoloured the background using the colours Coastal Cabana, Fresh Freesia, Shy Shamrock, Night of Navy Gorgeous Grape and Berry Burst.
Die-cut the pieces using Thoughtful Wishes Dies.
Die-cut a few more pieces using the Bough Punch and attach them to the card front using glue.
Die-cut circles using Spotlight Bature Bundles using Night Of Navy and Basic White.
Cut the Night Of Navy Circle into half and then attach on top of the die-cut pieces.
Then Die-cut the word die using Night of Navy cardstock, and adhere it on top of the circle dies using glue.
Adhere double bow Golden Thread using glue dots.
Finally, splatter some Night Of Navy and Wink of Stella as a finishing touch.
