Hello lovely Crafty friends,
Here is my Stampin’ Up! Technique post, in which I shared techniques using two different embossing folders.
I picked the bold colours here,
Measurements:
- Base card – Melon Mambo -10.5cm x 27.8cm scored214.9cm (4 1/4″x11″scored@5 1/2″)
- Layer 1: Melon Mambo -9.7cm x 14.1cm (4″x5 1/4″)
- Layer 2:Embossed piece -9.4cm x 13.9cm ( 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″)
- Basic white – Inside 10cm x14.4cm (4″ x 5 1/4″)
Procedure:
- Sponged the Basic white cardstock using the colours Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie
- Then deboss the cardstock which is the reverse side of the embossing cardstock, which gives a very subtle look to your cardstock. It’s the reverse side of the raised cardstock.
- One easy tip: the Stampin’ Up! symbol must always face you when you do your embossing.
- Next, emboss the cardstock using a Layered floral 3D embossing folder to get the raised pattern to your cardstock.
- Here you can see the embossed and debossed designs in one card, which gives a different texture to our project.
Decorate the inside of the card using Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie Ink pad with a scrap piece to Highland Heather cardstocks.
