Hello, Friends,
Today’s post is for the Be Inspired Design Team. Each month will have a different theme and this month’s theme is using Monochromatic Colours.
I like to pick the colours from the Green family, and I used the colours Mossy Meadow, Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Lemon Lime Twist
I used the Poised Peony Stamp Set and Spotlight On Nature Dies.
I am looking forward to seeing what everyone has created.
Here is my card
Measurements:
- Base card – Mossy Meadow- 10.5cm x 29.7cm scored@14.9cm
- Layer 1 Mossy Meadow : 9.7cm x 14.1cm (embossed)
- Basic White Inside -10cm x 14.4cm
- Scrap pieces of Basic Black for sentiment.
Make sure to decorate the inside of the card using some scraps of die-cut pieces.
- I die-cut the circles from the Spotlight of Nature dies, the first background two circles are from Lemon Lime Twist, Next are small circles using the colour Old Olive.
- Coloured the flowers using different green shades.
- First coloured using Light Soft Sea Foam colour and used dark shades next.
- Then, I coloured the outline using the colour Old Olive then again blended all the colours together using light Soft Sea Foam.
- Splatter some black and white ink to the background.
- Stamped the sentiment on Basic Black using Versamark Inkpad and used White embossing powder.
- Decorated the inside using stamped images and some colouring.
