Hello Crafty Friends,
Welcome to my blog, today’s post is card 2 from the Chain Card Swaps.
Let me talk more about this”Chain Card Swap”- We will design a card (round 1) and send it off to one of the other participants. That person Cases the card and sends their version to the next person. The card made its way around until finally, a version came home to the maker. We will have a blog hop for each card design to share the fun and amazement at the evolution.
The first card that we are sharing was designed by Carlina Evans.
- Base Card as Thick Basic White -10.5cm x 29.7cm scored@14.9cm
- Layer 1: Basic White – 10cm x 14.4cm ;Layer 2: 9.7cm x 14.1cm
- DSP – 5cm x 14.1cm; DSP – 5cm x 5cm
- Add some scrap pieces of DSP and some scrap pieces of the Ribbon underneath the image.
- The image is from the DSP and the sentiment using the second generation Early Espresso ink.
- Stamp the splatter image on Basic White cardstock using Pecan Pie ink, then sponge some Petal Pink ink to the background using a blending brush.
- Splatter some Early Espresso ink into the background.
- Attach the Embellishments and splatter some Clear Wink of Stella to add some Shimmer to the card.
- Don’t forget to decorate the inside of the card.
Be sure to check out all the member’s projects below and where you can find out where the design starts and it ended. Mine is the last card in this part, so you can see the difference and the magic.
