Global Design Project- Guest Designer - #GDP361

I am honoured to be chosen as a winner of the #GDP357 project; as a result, I was asked to be a Guest Designer for this week’s challenge – #GDP361. I am very excited.

Today’s project uses the beautiful colour combos Parakeet Party, Shaded Spruce and Flirty Flamingo.

I used the fantastic Splendid Thoughts Bundle, such a versatile bundle.

Splendid Thoughts Bundle

I used Parakeet Party as my base, followed by another layer of dry embossed Parakeet Party.
Stamped the image using Versarak Ink on Fluid watercolour Paper and used black embossing powder, then I watercoloured it using Flirty Flamingo Re-Inker.
Die-cut a few pieces using Shaded Spruce and Basic White Cardstock.
First, I added Shaded Spruce, Basic white Cardstock (embossed using Timber 3D embossing folder) and Very Vanilla Cardstock using glue in front of the card.

Then adhere to the double bow using linen thread and the single bow using very Vanilla Baker’s twine using glue dots.
Stamp the sentiment on Shaded Spruce Cardstock using Versamrak Ink and White embossing powder.
As a final touch, I splattered some Shaded Spruce Ink on the background to give a little dark shade to the base.
