Welcome to my blog.
Today’s card for The Spot Design Team project TheSpotChallenge#145
Splish Splash Challenge. It’s fun and one of my favorite techniques.
I used the Stampin’ Up! ‘Sale-A -Bration’ Freebie items stamp set and the Designer Series Paper here for today.
All other Stampin’ Up! products that I used here are available at my Online Store.
- Base Card Night of Navy / Rococo Rose: 10.5 cm by 14.9 cm
- First Layer Whisper White: 10 cm by 14.4 cm
- Second Layer Whisper White: 9 cm by 13.4 cm
- Third Layer Paper Bloom Designer Series Paper: 8.7 cm by 13.1 cm
- Fourth Layer Whisper White: 8.3 cm by 12. 7 cm
- Whisper White Inside: 10 cm by 14.4 cm ( Inside )
- I used the base card as Night of Navy/ Rococo Rose followed by the layers Basic White, basic White, and the Free Sale- A-Bration Paper Bloom Designer Series Paper and again followed by the Basic White Cardstock.
- I tore the edges of the first layer Basic White and the Designer Series Paper using the scissor. I want to give a different texture to my card.
- I used the stampin’ Markers colors Seaside Spray, Cinnamon Cider, Wink of Stella to Splatter on the Basic White Cardstock as a background. I stamped the Butterfly using Night of Navy and Seaside Spray. ( For Video Blushing Bride and Rococo Rose )
- Stamped the flowers using Mango Melody and Cinnamon Cider. ( For Video Bumble Bee and Cinnamon Cider )
- Stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink and used Stamp’ White Emboss Powder – use a heat tool to melt the powder, fussy cut it using the scissors, and added using the Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Added the embellishments on the top of the Basic White Cardstock and tied the bow using the polka ribbon and the linen thread.
- I always like to finish my card by decorating inside using a simple Designer Series Paper or an image.
