Day 7 #30daychristmascardmakingchallenge – Green like the Grinch.
I am very excited to take part in these two fun challenges.

I used Shaded Spruce as my base card today, followed by the layers Whisper White and forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. It’s a very simple quick and easy card. I die cut all the pieces from the Forever Fern Bundle using Pear Pizzaz, Whisper White, Gold foil and Shaded Spruce Cardstock.

Measurements in Metric :
- Base Card Shaded Spruce A4 Card Stock : 27.8 cm by 10.5 cm (Cut at half on 10.5 cm on 21cm side , scored and folded at half on 14.9 cm )
- First Layer Whisper White : 9 cm by 14.9 cm
- Second Layer Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper : 9.5 cm by 14.9 cm
- Third Whisper White: 4 cm by 9 cm
- Pear Pizzazz : 9.7 cm by 14.1 cm ( Inside )
- Whisper White: 9.4 cm by 13.8 cm ( Inside )
- Scrap piece of Pear Pizzazz to stamp the sentiment.
Measurements in Imperial:
- Base Card Shaded Spruce: 8.5 “by 11”(Cut at half on 5.5″, scored and folded at half on 4 1/4″ ).
- First Layer Whisper White : 3 1/2 ” by 5 1/2 “.
- Second Layer Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper : 3 1/4 ” by 5 1/2 “.
- Third Layer Whisper White : 1 1/2 ” by 3 1/4 “
- Pear Pizzaz : 4″ by 5 1/4″ ( Inside ).
- Whisper White: 3 7/8″ by 5 1/8″ ( Inside )
- Scrap piece of Pear Pizzazz to stamp the sentiment.
I attached whisper White and Greenery Designer series paper together. I get another piece of Whisper White attached to the card and stamped the sentiment in Pear Pizzaz Cardstock using Versamark Ink (Sticky Ink) and add Stampin’ Gold embossing powder, use the heat gun to melt the powder then Fussy cut it using paper snips and adhere to the Whisper White Cardstock in the centre using Stampin’ dimensional.
I attached all the die cut pieces to the centre Whisper White Cardstock and finally added the Forever Greenery Trim Combo ribbon on top of it. As a final touch I added the Gilded Gems on the sides. Click the image at end of my blog post will take you to my Online shop Straight.
I decorated the inside using the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper with some pieces of the dies.
