Welcome to my blog. My today’s card for the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP254.
I am very excited to take part in this Challenge. In Global Design Project every week there will be new and different Challenges always fun to play along. This week it’s a Card Sketch Challenge.

I used Stampin’ Up! Christmas Gleaming Stamp set, from the Mini Holiday Catalogue 2020. All the products which I used here are available at my online store. You can click the pictures at the end of the blog post to take you to my online shop.
I used Pretty Peacock as my base card today followed by layering Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper, next layer again using Pretty Peacock and embossed it Wrapped In texture Embossing Folder. Stamped the sentiment using Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin’ Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock and attached it to the Crumb Cake and by adding Stampin’ dimensional then adhere it to embossed Pretty Peacock Card Stock.
Measurements in Metric:
- Base Card Pretty Peacock A4 Card Stock : 27.8 cm by 10.5 cm ( Cut at half on 27.8 cm on side , scored and folded at half at 10.5 cm )
- First Layer Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper : 10 cm by 14.4 cm
- Second Layer Pretty Peacock : 8.5cm by 12.9 cm
- Scrap piece of Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla – for sentiment.
- Crumb Cake: 10 cm by 14.4cm ( Inside )
- Very Vanilla : 9.7 cm by 14.1 cm ( Inside )
- Designer Series Paper: 3 cm by 13.9 cm ( Inside )
Measurements in Imperial:
- Pretty Peacock 8.5 ” by 11″ (Cut at half on 5 .5″,scored and folded at half on 4 1/4″ )
- First Layer Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper : 4 1/8 ” by 5 3/8 ”
- Second Layer Pretty Peacock : 3 3/8 ” by 5 ” ( 2 pieces- 1 for inside )
- Scrap piece of Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla- for sentiment.
- Crumb Cake: 4 ” by 5 1/4 ” ( Inside )
- Very Vanilla : 3 7/8″ by 5 1/8″ ( Inside )
- Designer Series Paper : 3 3/4″ by 1 1/4″ ( Inside )
Little Stars used here are from the Designer Series Paper and I adhere it to the card using Mini Stampin’ Dimensional and as a final touch I added the Elegant Faceted Gems.
I decorated then inside using the Designer Series Paper and attach the stamped the Merry Christmas. sentiment.
