Stampin’ Up! Simply Elegant Suite – Creativity Abounds Blog Hop July 2021

Hello, my Crafty Friends, 

Welcome to my blog. 

My today’s card for the Creativity Abounds Design Team Blog Hop, a group of Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators from all around the world come together to share our creative ideas with you. I am pleased to join this amazing Design Team, and we are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire you.  

For the Blog Hop and for the Tutorial month, we are highlighting the Stampin’ Up! Simply Elegant Suite. 

Here is my card for today’s Blog Hop:

I used the colours Pool Party, Basic White and, Simply Elegant Designer series paper.

  • Base Card Pool Party- 10.5 cm by 29.7cm scored@ 14.9cm 
  • Layer1 Pool Party: 10cm by 14.4 cm ( embossed and sponged the edges using Pool Party Ink )
  • Layer 2 White Vellum: 10 by 6.5 cm (embossed the edges using Tateful Textile embossing folder)
  • Layer 3 Designer Series Paper :5 cm by 9 cm 
  • Basic White : 10cm by 14.4cm ( Inside )
  • Basic White : 9.8 cm by 14.2 cm ( Inside )
  • Stamped the flower image on the background of the Pool Party Cardstock and embossed it using a tasteful textile embossing folder. 
  • Then sponge the edges using the Pool Party stampin’ classic ink. 
  • Added the White chalk to the centre of the flower to give some brightness to it. 
  • Then I stamped the flower image using VersaMark Ink on White Vellum cardstock and heat emboss using a heat tool. 
  • Fussy cut the flower and added it next to the sentiment punched card ( Pool Party )
  • Stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Pool Party.
  • As a final added the In- Color Jewels ( Evening Evergreen ) and Clear wink of Stella for a bit of shimmer.
