Be Inspired Blog Hop - March

Hello lovely Crafty friends,

Today’s post is for the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop. Every month we have a different theme, and this month it’s all about simple techniques you’ll use forever.

One technique I always go back to is splattering… I like to call it my little “splatter of happiness” 😊 You’ll see it in most of my cards, I just feel it adds that extra touch and makes both me and the person receiving it a little happier.

For this card, I used watercolours to colour the flowers. I actually got this at OnStage and didn’t use it there with blends, but when I came home I tried it with watercolours instead – and I really love how it turned out!

PROduct of the Month

I used the colours Petunia Pop and Bubble Bath to colour the flowers using water painters. Splatter some of the Black Ink to the background to highlight the images.

Here in this second card I watercolored only the background using the colours Petunia Pop and splatter again using the black colour.

You can see the splattering here as a close look.

Don’t forget to decorate the inside of the card using some scrap pieces of the cardstock.
