Hop Abroad Instagram Hop – NO STAMPING!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome to Hop Abroad March Insta Hop, each month there is different theme, this month theme is something interesting thats NO STAMPING!
I created this card for today’s challenge – and the fun part is, there is no stamping at all! 😊

Sometimes it’s nice to step outside our usual crafting style and try something different. By playing with colours, layers, and textures, you can still create a beautiful and interesting card. Challenges like this are a great way to spark creativity and try new ideas.
Have you ever made a card without stamping?

I used Blackberry Bliss as my Base Card and watercolored the fluid watercolour paper background using different colours.

Here is my version – I used Cute As A Bug DSP and the Brushed With Beauty DSP

I used Mossy Meadow, Darling Duckling, Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia and Petal Pink for the background colours! I used Wet on Wet Technique watercolour in the background, so that it will mix naturally and get the colours together!

Measurements

• Blackberry Bliss – 10.5cm x 29.7cm scored at 14.9cm( 4 1/4″x 11″scored at 5 1/2″)
• Fluid Watercolour Paper -Secret Sea 10cmx 14.4cm (4″x 5 1/4″ – embossed)
• Inside – Basic White – 10cmx 14.4cm

Designer Series Paper

Procedure:

• I watercolored the background using the colours Darling duckling , Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss.
• Fussy cut the images from the Cute As A Bug and Brushed with Petals DSP.
• For the Sentiment I used the Greetings for All Mix& Match Ephemera Pack.

• Finish the inside of the card using some fussy cut pieces from the DSP.

Finish the whole tag with a touch of Wink of Stella for that perfect hint of sparkle. ✨
